US Circular Economy Lending

ReCirculate Collective

Catalyzing Circular Innovation Together.

ReCirculate Collective is a new initiative of S3IDF—a mission-driven, member-powered effort supporting U.S.-based nonprofits and companies advancing circular and regenerative solutions. ReCirculate Collective brings together values-aligned individuals who want to make a meaningful difference through pooled capital, strategic engagement, and community learning.

Why We Exist

Momentum around circular and regenerative solutions is growing—led by nonprofit and for-profit initiatives that are building practical models for reuse, recovery, local production, and systems repair. But while the vision is strong, the availability of early, flexible, non-dilutive capital hasn’t kept pace.

Many initiatives need patient, low-barrier funding to test, adapt, and grow their impact. At the same time, individuals across sectors are seeking ways to give more strategically, transparently, and in alignment with their values.

ReCirculate Collective brings these needs together.

What We Offer

We offer a simple and participatory model that connects donor capital with circular economy efforts across the U.S.—through 0% interest loans, community engagement, and shared learning. By pooling contributions and activating member insight, we help unlock the potential of underfunded solutions—while giving contributors a meaningful way to be part of the transition toward a more equitable and sustainable economy.

How it works

For Members

  • Make an annual, tax-deductible contribution that secures your membership, supports ReCirculate Collective operations, and contributes to a pooled fund for quarterly loan awards.
  • Take part in quarterly review and selection cycles—help shape funding themes and review curated applicants.
  • Vote on funding themes and review curated applicants
  • Optionally engage as mentors, learning partners, or guest contributors in virtual events.
  • Join virtual programming, including expert talks and peer learning sessions.
  • See your impact grow over time—as loan repayments are recycled into future awards, the capital pool continues to expand and support new initiatives.

For Initiatives

  • Must be a U.S.-registered nonprofit or for-profit with a clear U.S.-focused impact in the circular economy or regenerative systems space
  • Quarterly awards are made in the form of 0% interest loans of up to $25,000
  • Loan terms are up to five years, with flexible repayment schedules tailored to operational realities
  • Non-financial support may be available from members, including strategic guidance, mentorship, visibility support, and connections to potential partners
  • Participate in virtual check-ins and share outcome-oriented reporting (e.g., progress updates, milestones reached, and lessons learned)
